You look around your home and see muddle building up. All of a sudden, you decide to declutter your home but do not know where to start. You start by the firm backbone to declutter and organize your house. A general declutter day might be scheduled or a room by room or area by area approach can be made. Put in a rubbish bag, the clothes and toys that are not serviceable anymore.
If you want to declutter and organize, you can decide on a theme for your house. It could be a color range or a motif. After you decide on this, you can take out things that don’t go with the theme. A theme will help you decide which items to keep and which ones to store for use in the future.
‘Clean as you go’ is not just a junk food operations slogan but can be applied to your home too. Everybody in your household must follow this rule. Even tiny youngsters can follow this by placing their toys on chosen places once they are done with playing. The slogan can most apply to the kitchen. When you clean right away your work space, organize and store utensils and ingredients, you are decluttering and this is an excellent practice.
